One of the many projects we are working on at the moment is a revamp of www.swishing.co.uk. As well as expanding the current functionality, the new website will feature a chic and minimal new look.
‘Swishing’ involves swapping unwanted items of clothing with friends at a party. Swishing.co.uk was launched in 2009 to tap into this growing craze. The aim was to give people an online platform where they could swish from home and potentially swap clothes with thousands of people rather than a select few.
The website proved to be hugely successful and has nearly 10,000 loyal members. It has also been featured in the national press and on Channel 4’s SuperScrimpers.
The new website will be built on OpenCart, one of the leading ecommerce platforms. One of the many advantages is OpenCart’s active developer community, as expanding the current website’s functionality had become increasingly difficult.
Also for the first time there will be mobile and tablet versions of the website through responsive design. Therefore it will be even easier to swish on the move! Keep posted for further news.
